Hizbullah's Arsenal: What are these things being shot across the border at us? What we call a ketusha (a class of Russian-made rocket), is actually more diverse. Keep in mind that anything that can hit Akko (Acre) or S'fat can hit Karmiel. Here's what we are facing:



Plenty of these guys are landing in the north. Hizbullah may have thousands of Ra'ad 1 and 3 rockets. Don't think that the wimpy little 122 mm diameter is a joke; they are still plenty shocking when they land close to you!

I can't tell the difference in bang between a Ra'ad and a Grad, but...

These are the ones that took out the train depot in Haifa. Hizbullah has several hundred of these Iranian-made rockets.

These longer-range rockets (also Iranian-made) are starting to get into the missile class. We suspect that Hizbullah has several dozen of these. The longer range gives us more time to react, and there is a chance that we can use the Patriots against them.
