Under Fire, part 6

And here I thought it was going to be a quieter day. This morning, I wake to noisy birds and a sleepy, sun-dappled street. Feeling a touch of cabin fever, I risk the short walk to the local market. Could it be that things are quieting down?
No such luck. For the past hour, I've been listening to live news feeds from Haifa, where seven rockets struck, injuring at least 17 people and causing a lot of damage. (Photo from the Ynet site.) The sirens have been going off here again, and the sound of artillery fire is almost a constant thud in the background. I feel the vibration through my feet. There have been more hits in S'fat (a barrage of nine ketushot) and Kiryat Shemona, plus (based on the sounds), some hits close to us.
