My bad! Notice that yesterday's links didn't spawn new browser windows? Sorry! That's fixed now. In my defense: I've been running a low-grade fever for a few days. Back to bed...

How we handle things: One way to look at an issue is to see how different groups react to the same situation or problem. When someone says something that you find offensive, do you:

1. Get mad, demand an apology, and maybe boycott an event, or
2. Get mad, demand an apology, attack churches, and murder nuns?

Everyone is entitled to protest; it is the form of the protest that defines our humanity.

Livingston isn't alone: anti-Semitic incidents in England are on the rise all over, but this latest attack makes the Barnet police sit up and take notice. Saddest part: no one on the bus intervened to help these girls.

Germany and Sweden drift to the right: Well, of course. Just when we started to really like Merkel... In both cases, economics may have played a larger role than ideology.
